The Terraces

The summer of 2023 marked an extensive project with The Terraces, a prominent apartment rental building nestled in the heart of downtown Charlottesville. My engagement involved capturing the essence of urban living through my lens, detailing residential units, office spaces, and the building's crowning jewel, its rooftop deck. This feature was particularly showcased through aerial photography, offering a majestic perspective of the space and its 180-degree views of the urban landscape.

The building also features a communal garden roof deck—a serene oasis boasting lush plantings and a 6-person Jacuzzi, complemented by a shared gas BBQ, fostering community and relaxation. My photographic endeavor spanned a month, meticulously documenting over these spaces to produce a comprehensive portfolio for The Terraces. These images are not just photographs but a narrative of the urban living promised by The Terraces, now immortalized for potential residents and a testament to the building's allure.
