Ivy Cottages

The Ivy Cottages project was a comprehensive photography assignment that involved capturing the essence of a charming bed and breakfast concept situated between Crozet and Charlottesville. The brief was to create a visual narrative for each of the seven cottages, both through ground-level perspectives and aerial shots, to portray the ambiance of this newly-conceptualized retreat.

The photographs were meticulously composed to embody the blend of English country charm and the warmth of southern hospitality that Ivy Cottages aim to provide. Each image was crafted to not only showcase the unique décor and character of the individual cottages but also to convey the overall experience of comfort, convenience, and privacy that the retreat offers.

With a keen focus on the details that make each cottage a 'home away from home', the photographs highlighted the bespoke interiors and furnished spaces, alongside the modern amenities that ensure a comfortable stay. The exterior images emphasized the serene setting and the cottages' placement within the picturesque landscape of Ivy, Virginia.
